| Summary, etc. | This study is entitled Causes and Effects of Bullying: Victims Outlook. It is conducted to determine the causes of bullying in terms of psycho-social problem, social positioning, emotionally-driven, and thoughtlessness, and the effects of bullying in terms of psychological and physical. The researchers aimed to determine the significance relationship between the causes and effects of bullying. The study uses descriptive-correlation method design through survey questionnaire to the chose respondents. The study is conducted at UM Bansalan College wherein a purposely sampling was employed. There were 54% or 27 male respondents and 46% or 23 female respondents, with a total number of 50 respondents. The result of the study based on the data and findings determined rthat the level of the causes of bullying is 3.75 described as high. The measure embodied was observed in majority of the cases. The level of the effects of bullying is 3.75 described as high. The significant relationship of the causes and effects of bullying is tested below 0.05 level of significance. Based on the findings, the members recommended to the school to enforce anti-bullying policies to clarify and amplify how the organization defines school bullying such as conducting a "School Conference Day" wherein it will raise a school and community awareness and involvement by creating a long-term anti-bullying plan, and establish a Bullying Prevention Coordinating Committee that will coordinate all aspects of a school's violence prevention efforts, including anti-bullying efforts. |
