Summary, etc. | This study is about the case of juvenile delinquency in Bansalan. It aims at determining the profile of juvenile delinquent in terms of age, sex, occupation status of parents and school background. It also aims at determining the type of offenses committed by the juveniles, to explain the reason why they commit it and to gather some case studies and related juvenile delinquent.<br/>The study found that the majority of the juveniles are males and that the most common offense they commit is physical injury. Most of the parents of juvenile are either currently employed or engaged in small enterprises, which are mostly not able to address the needs of the family. Majority of juveniles who commonly commit a crime or failed to abide the law is aging 18 years old.<br/>The case studies also revealed the role of friendship and peers in influencing aberrant behavior of the youth inside the school. Moreover, because of the seeming connection between economy and delinquency, it is important to livelihood programs be made available to them and to their families. |
