The varieties of street food differ from where it's country's origin. In the Philippines, there are many delicious and cheap local street foods to choose from but it's not properly sanitized . One major concern with this is the difficulties and challenges encountered by the participants in eating street foods. Food safety guides and educates people on the advantages and disadvantages of eating this kind of foods. Food-borne illness is one of the main worries when it comes to eating street foods, which people do not want to experience . With this , the researcher want to provide knowledge and effective solutions to prevent food-borne illness and how to apply food safety practices. The researcher used qualitative approach to know why people eat street and the difficulties and challenges encountered by the participants in eating street foods . This research was conducted outside of the Public Mall, Poblacion Dos Bansalan Davao Del Sur . this study conducted in-depth (IDI) with ten street foods consumer's with guide questions for them to provide accurate answer. Based on the results,the researcher found out that there are five themes emerged in this study which is patronage, attitude, inexpensive,food quality and danger. The researcher also found out that the most of the interviewed consumers' had the same answer to the guide questions and that they have experienced getting sick after eating street foods. The researcher highly recommend that the local municipality of Bansalan Davao Del Sur must make a simple checklist for hygienic practices and safety food practices . This checklist will evaluate the food safety practices of the street foods vendors to highlight the implementation of good hygiene standard.
