This study was conducted to determine the relationship of self-esteem and the oral communication apprehension of accounting student on their class in UM Tagum College.
Specifically, it sought answer to the following queries:
1. What is the level of self-esteem of student in term of: Physical appearance; personal accomplishment; and emotional turmoil?
2. What is the level of oral communication apprehension among accounting student in class in term of: Group discussion; interpersonal conversation; and oral participation?
3. Is there a significant difference on the level of student self-esteem when respondents are grouped according to gender?
4. Is there a significant difference on the level of oral communication apprehension of student in class when the respondents are grouped according to gender?
5. Is there a significant relationship between self-esteem and oral communication apprehension of students?
