This study was conducted to determine the level of performance of the barangay officials and the satisfaction of the residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method of research by which the researchers personally administered the questionnaire to the selected residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan, Davao del Sur with the sample size of 293 participants. It resulted from data gathered and the findings determined that the level of performance of the barangay officials obtained the over-all mean of 3.60 described as high and the level of satisfaction of selected residents obtained the over-all mean of 3.05 described as moderate. The over-all p-value is 0.000 which is lesser that the alpha=0.05. Such resulted that there is a significant relationship between the performance of the barangay officials and satisfaction of selected residents. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researchers would recommend that the barangay officials must perform their duties and functions without prejudice and bias. To further make their constituents be very satisfied to their performance. In general, but with great emphasis on environmental management and governance, making sure that they are always available and ready to render service to their constituents.
