In order for the residents to be more satisfied in community-oriented policing, the Philippine National Police, with coordination of the local barangay officials and in partnership with the barangay tanod, must frequently conduct foot and mobile patrol in the community, and they must provide proper and adequate skills training to the members of the Barangay Peace Action Team or Barangay tanod. Furthermore, police outposts must be manned at all times, especially on locations that are deemed to be high in criminality.
