This research is entitled there enactment of death penalty: the peaople's outlook. This study is study aimed to determine the perceptions of the residents of Bansalan, Davao del Sur regarding the reenactment of death penalty. Specifically, it seeks to know the question of the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of sex, age, and educational attainment, the level of perception of the respondents regarding the reenactment of death penalty in terms of right forfeiture, retribution, and deterrence. The researchers aimed to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the level of outlook of respondents in the reenactment of death penalty when analyzed by sex, age, and educational attainment and what is the outlook of the people on the reenactment of death penalty. This study is conducted using the descriptive method of research with the total of 141 residents. The results of the study based on the data and finds determine that the level of peoples outlook on the reenactment of death penalty over-all mean obtained 3.54 describe d as high. The outlook of the people on the reenactment of death penalty does not vary with age and sex but varies according to their educational attainment. In this connection, the researchers recommend that the government, with the assistance of concerned non-governmental organizations and education institutions, must educate the people fully regarding death penalty explaining in full details with evidence if death penalty really forfeits the rights of people who will be penalize with this from of capital punishment.
