Effectiveness of barangay officials and satisfaction of the residents of barangay tubod, Bansalan Davao del Sur / by Josephine Greenfield G., Christian Jay G. Liboon and Jonard D. Ligan.

This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of barangay officials and satisfaction of the residents of barangay tubod, bansalan, Davao del Sur. The researchers aim to determine the significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of the barangay officials and the resident's satisfaction. The study was conducted using the descriptive correlation method. The researchers administered personally the questionnaire to the chosen residents of Barangay Tubod, Bansalan, Davao del Sur with 100 participants. The study resulted to data and findings to determine the effectiveness of barangay officials and satisfaction of the residents of barangay tubod and was strongly agreed. The significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of the barangay officials and the resident's satisfaction was tested below 0.05 level of significance. Based on the findings and conclusions the researches would recommend that recommend that the barangay officials should use a data survey to evaluate their effectiveness in the implementation of various programs, laws, ordinances and policies that needs improvement. The resident in the barangay should be encouraged to cooperate in order to maintain peace and order. All the residents of the barangay must see that they put into practice ideas and concepts in preventing crime and maintaining peace and order. Further, both the residents and the barangay officials of the barangay will continue to take part and do their responsibilities and support their barangay officials in every activity that they will be doing.
