This study was conducted to determine the level of solid waste management implementation and participation of the residents of Barangay Poblacion Dos Bansalan Davao del Sur. The researchers aim to determine the significance of the relationship between the implementation of solid waste management and participation of the residents. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method. The researchers administered personally the questioner to the chosen residents of Barangay Pob. Dos with 61 participants. The study resulted to data and findings to determine the solid waste management implementation is moderate and the participation of the respondents is moderately. The significant relationship between level of implementation of solid waste management and participation of the respondents in Barangay Pob Dos Bansalan Davao del Sur was tested below 0.05 level of significance. Thus, the decision on Ho: is significant which means that there is significant relationship between two variables. Based the findings and conclusions the researchers would recommend that the barangay officials should provide more efforts and action to strengthen the continuing implementation of the municipal ordinance. The local government should purchase more garabage trucks and strengthen the daily collection schedule so that the maximum level of implementation will be attained. In as much as the level of the community participation was also sometimes. All residents of the barangay must encourage to attained seminars and orientation to motivate them for maximum community participation. Further, the barangay officials must encouraged the cooperation of there residents in doing their assigned responsibilities so that the both municipal government and the people would act hand in hand. The residents of the locality should always observe the actual situation of the cleanliness of their community for an immediate response to any related problems. Their voluntary response is always needed as well as the consistent support of the barangay officials as their role model.
