Abstract: This research deals with the factors affecting the police discretion in terms of criminal offenders and their profile of discretion regarding age, sex, educational attainment and rank. This research is all about the police's judgment in responding the call of duty. The proponents are seeking answers regarding the prudence of the mind of the police officers during their response of different crimes and different offenders. The scope is within the Police Stations in Magsaysay, Bansalan, and Matanao which the researchers has acquired sixty-two respondents.
