Performance level of the Barangay Tanod in the Implementation of curfew hour as percieved by the Residents in Barangay Barayong, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur/ by Lorjane Buga, Rengel Helbes, and Princess Joy Mirafuentes.

This study was conducted to determine the Performance Level of the Barangay Tanod in the Implementation of Curfew Hour in Barangay Barayong, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur. The researchers aimed to determine the significant difference in the performance level of the barangay tanod in the implementation of curfew hour when analyzed by group. The study was conducted using the descriptive survey method. The researchers administrated personally the questionnaire to the chosen residents of Barayong, Magsaysay Davao del Sur with 311 participants. The study resulted to data and findings which determined the Performance Level of the Barangay Tanod in the Implementation of Curfew Hour which was very high. Further, we found out that there is significant difference in the performance level of the barangay tanod in the implementation of curfew hour in Brangay Barayong, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur interms of information dissemination and arrest. However, there is no significant difference in the performance level of the Barangay Tanod in the implementation of curfew hour in Barangay Barayong, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur in terms of patrolling. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researcher would like to recommend the barangay tanod hould apply the curfew hours in order to help the parents who were responsible to the children, and also for the safety of the people of the community. In as much as the performance level of the barangay tanod is concerned, the researcher would like to express to barabgay that they must visit every schools and make orientation in implementing the rules and regulations and further, the people of the community must also cooperate to the tanods in order to have peaceful and safe community.
