Results revealed that the level of advancing career paths in terms of leadership, trainings and motivation is high. The level of identified barriers in terms of stereotypical roles, physical capabilities and job performance is average. The level of strategies in terms of leadership, psychological aspect and job performance is high. There is a significant relationship between advancing career paths, identifying barriers and strategies among the administered policewomen. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are suggested: The PNP administration and officials should adopt the Family Welfare and Maternal Child Health Program (DOLE - D.O no. 56-03 s. 2003), a program designed to help working mothers to take not just for their health but for the health of their children too. FW-MCHP also established a center for breast-feeding mothers, daycare centers, etc. This way, Policewomen can be befit from the program that they can be able to stay focused on their work, become more productive knowing that their children are well taken care of PNP unit of Magsaysay, Bansalan, Matanao (MABAMA) should design a training program just like what Davao City Police Office have implemented for policewomen. PNP officials should also give opportunities for policewomen to do the functions of policemen like patrolling, and not just that they have to do office on functions alone. This research can be further enhance on digging issues on what drive Policewomen to join PNP and any other law enforcement agencies (specifically male-dominated agencies).
